RENOVATION / EXTENSION PROCESS

Chateaux Homes as a renovator builder follows a standard renovation / extension process as shown in the diagram.
Two variations are shown, one where the customer already has their own house plans, and one where Chateaux Homes drafts the house plans for the customer.

The 'YOUR PLANS" section below assumes the customer has obtained all necessary building approvals.
If we draft the house plans for you, we will obtain the building approval also.
Building approvals can range from 2 weeks to 8 weeks, depending on the shire. Once the approved plans are received, finance is arranged and construction insurances put in place, construction can begin.

The building construction process is divided into many smalll stages. Each small stage is paid for by the customer or their bank to the builder once the stage is completed.
